Giulia Comunale, PhD, is a Data Scientist at Empatica since May 2022, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Università degli Studi di Padova, where research focused on cardiovascular modeling and analysis of physiological signals. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and Information Technology Engineering, respectively. Giulia's expertise encompasses numerical modeling in cardiovascular fluid dynamics, MATLAB coding, and the development of lumped parameter models for blood circulation. Previous roles include international research collaboration at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and Erasmus+ traineeship at University College London, as well as various tutoring and waitressing positions during earlier educational pursuits.
