Valerie Girand Wilson started their education in 1983 at UC San Diego, where they focused on Biology/Biological Sciences for two years. From 1985 to 1987, they attended UCLA and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology/Biomechanics. Valerie then pursued further studies at The Ohio State University, earning a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology between 1988 and 1990.
