Francesco Marrone, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of computer vision and deep learning. Francesco currently works at emotion3D as a Software Architect & Lead Software Engineer, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Computer Vision Deep Learning Engineer at emotion3D from April 2022 to February 2023. Francesco also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Politecnico di Torino from February 2022 to March 2022, and as a Doctoral Student from November 2018 to January 2022. During their time at Politecnico di Torino, they also served as a Doctoral Student Lecturer from October 2019 to February 2020 and as a Predoctoral Student from May 2018 to October 2018.

Francesco continued their studies at Politecnico di Torino from 2015 to 2018 where they completed their Master's degree in the same field. Francesco then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Politecnico di Torino from 2018 to 2022, specializing in Electronic engineering.
