Anya Reid is a seasoned advancement and development professional with extensive experience in higher education fundraising and external relations. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Vice President for Advancement at Emory University since August 2019, Anya provides strategic leadership for fundraising and alumni engagement for various schools and programs within the institution. Prior roles include Executive Director of Development at North Carolina State University’s Poole College of Management and multiple leadership positions at UC Davis Graduate School of Management. Anya's career also features significant marketing roles at Discovery Communications and Turner Broadcasting, along with early marketing positions at SAP and Similan.com. Anya holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of California, Davis and a BA in History from Davidson College.
