Gretchen Smith is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in marketing communications and brand management. Currently serving as the Head of Marketing Communications and Brand for dnata Travel Group within the Emirates Group since September 2018, Gretchen oversees marketing, communications, and PR strategies for 28 global brands across the GCC and India. Prior to this role, Gretchen held senior positions at Virgin Atlantic Airways, where responsibilities included developing international marketing strategies with direct revenue accountability exceeding £120 million. Additional experience includes roles at the Health Authority-Abu Dhabi, Bank of Ireland, and ANZ. Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Tourism and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications, both from the University of Otago.
