Ranjit Narayan has had a diverse work experience in the shipping industry. Ranjit started their career as a Business Process Analyst at CSAV in 2000 and later worked as a Trade Manager at Norasia Container Lines Ltd from 2003 to 2005. Ranjit then joined CSAV Group Agencies India Pvt Ltd as a General Manager from 2004 to 2005.

In 2006, Ranjit joined Emirates Shipping Line as a Vice President for Process Engineering and IT. Ranjit held this position for several years and also served as the Vice President and Head of Dubai Agency. Currently, they are the Vice President for Global Agency Network and Business Process at Emirates Shipping Line.

Ranjit Narayan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Mahathma Gandhi University from 1990 to 1993. Before that, they completed their schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they graduated in Physics from 1972 to 1990.
