Ali Farid Ahmad is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Compliance at Emirates Development Bank since January 2024, Ali has previously held the position of Compliance Manager at Emirates Investment Bank pjsc from May 2022 to February 2024. Prior experience includes various roles at First Abu Dhabi Bank, including Manager of KYC & Onboarding, Senior Analyst in Risk & Control, and Client Services Manager, among others, from July 2016 to May 2022. Aliā€™s educational background includes a Finance degree (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance InstituteĀ® in 2020, a Master's in Accounting and Finance from Zayed University in 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Higher Colleges of Technology.
