Ajith Thomas is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project finance and structured finance across various prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Banker at Emirates Development Bank since January 2022, Ajith previously held the position of Senior Consultant at First Abu Dhabi Bank, focusing on the IBOR Transition Project. Prior roles at First Abu Dhabi Bank include Executive Director of Loan Capital Markets, where Ajith led the origination and execution of significant finance transactions. At the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Ajith operated as Executive Director of Global Project & Structured Finance, managing multiple debt transactions and previously serving as a Senior Manager. Early career highlights include roles at Maaden in project finance, advisory services at Islay Business Management, and various positions at ICICI Bank, as well as initial experience at Tata Consultancy Services and Mukand Ltd.
