Sameh Al Qubaisi is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as the Group Head of Global Markets at First Abu Dhabi Bank since June 2023. With a comprehensive background in leadership roles, Sameh holds positions as a Board Member and Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee at Etihad Credit Insurance, and as a Board Member at Wio UAE. In addition, Sameh serves as the Vice Chairman of the Emirates Angel Investors Association and was the Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Abu Dhabi IPO Fund until June 2023. Sameh previously held the role of Director General of Economic Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and has extensive experience in investment and wholesale banking, including leadership positions at the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, CAPM Investments, Finance House, and First Abu Dhabi Bank in Hong Kong. Sameh holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Rollins College and a certificate in Leadership from IMD.
