Matt Garrett is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Sr. Software Engineer at emfluence since October 2021. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at The University of Kansas from March 2003 to October 2021, where Matt held various roles including Associate Director and IT Architect in Custom Development & Application Services, as well as Manager and IT Architect for Web Development & Interface Design. Throughout this period, Matt contributed to the development of applications and websites with a focus on research and eCommerce, utilizing technologies such as PHP/Symfony, PHP/Laravel, and Drupal. Notably, Matt led the implementation of a campus-wide CMS system serving over 400 sites and played a key role in custom web application programming and integration with campus authentication systems. Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Kansas.
