Gaurav Somwanshi has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Gaurav is the CEO and Co-founder of EmerTech Innovations since September 2019. Prior to this, they served as a Future Leader at British Council, where they underwent training at the University of Cambridge and connected with influential leaders in the UK government and parliament. Gaurav was also selected as a Dalai Lama Fellow, where they worked on projects aimed at bringing social impact using emerging technologies and received supervision from the University of Virginia. Gaurav worked as a Senior Consultant at PwC India from January 2017 to September 2019. Gaurav co-founded EducatorNext, an educational platform designed to simplify education delivery, and served as its Co-founder from October 2015 to January 2017. Gaurav also worked as a Course Coordinator at Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration and as a Content Writing Consultant at CareerRide.com. Gaurav started their career as a Summer Associate at Home First Finance Company in 2012.

Gaurav Somwanshi began their education in 2007 at Little Flower High School, where they obtained their SSC. Gaurav then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Government Engineering College, Aurangabad, which they completed in 2011.

Following their undergraduate studies, Gaurav pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a specialization in Marketing and Human Resource from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, which they completed in 2013.

In 2018, Gaurav briefly attended the University of Cambridge to pursue a degree in Leadership and Policy Development.

In 2019, they furthered their education by attending the University of Virginia to complete a coaching program at the Contemplative Sciences Center, focusing on leadership.

In addition to their formal education, Gaurav also holds certifications in blockchain technology. Gaurav obtained the "Blockchain for Consulting" certification from PwC India in January 2019, as well as "Blockchain Essentials" and "IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer" certifications from IBM.
