Ryan Carlson has over 25 years of experience in software engineering and system architecture, currently serving as a Sr. Principal Embedded Systems Architect at Emerson since March 2011, where Ryan leads a team in defining product requirements and architecture for industrial measurement devices. Prior roles include Sr. Principal Software Engineer at ACIST Medical Systems, focusing on software development for FDA class II medical devices, and Software Verification Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, specializing in aircraft guidance systems. Additional experience includes embedded software development for hydraulic control systems at Sauer-Danfoss and industrial measurement devices at Emerson Process Management. Ryan holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from St. Cloud State University.
