Avon M. Scherff has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Most recently, they served as Vice President Operations at Emerson Reid, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, Scherff worked at HANYS Benefit Services as Senior Director from January 2018 to June 2022. They also held the position of Chief Operations Officer at Solomon and Solomon PC from September 2016 to January 2018. In addition, Scherff founded and served as Principal of Momentum Consulting from September 2013 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, Scherff was the President of Scherff Insurance Agency, Inc. from May 2003 to October 2015, and the President/Founder of IAMICAN from October 2010 to May 2015.

Avon M. Scherff completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology from Manhattanville College between 1980 and 1984. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Insurance Broker specializing in Life, Accident, and Health from the New York State Department of Financial Services.
