Rich Whitney, Ph.D., serves as a Professor of Organizational Leadership and Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs and Research at the University of La Verne since August 2015, focusing on faculty recruitment, mentoring, and interdisciplinary research. Whitney's experience includes roles as Program Chair for the Doctoral Program in Organizational Leadership at the University of La Verne and a Certified Professional with Actualized Performance Cycle, providing leadership training and organizational development. Additionally, Whitney is a Certified Emergenetics Associate and has operated as an independent consultant since June 2007, specializing in training programs that enhance leadership and group dynamics. Previous academic positions include Assistant Professor at DePaul University and various leadership roles at the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Ph.D. in Counseling and Research Methods from the same institution.
