Chris Taylor has a long history of work experience, beginning in 1989 when they volunteered with Project Trust. Chris then went on to work as a Research Manager for Adaptive Biosystems Ltd in 2000, followed by a Research Scientist role at Eli Lilly and Company in 2002. In 2008, they held the position of Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they were involved in dynamical modelling of molecular signalling pathways in cancer and pharmacogenomics. In 2011, they became a Researcher in Predictive Modelling at Mathematical Solutions Ltd. In 2016, they were a Consultant at a Private Fund, and in 2017 they were the Director of Quantitative Research at Prediction Machines. In 2018, they held two positions, Data Science Specialist at Mpowered Sales K.K. and Owner at Predictive Edge. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Data Scientist at EMERGEiQ.

Chris Taylor completed their education history in the following order: a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick (1990-1993), an M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics from the University of Liverpool (1993-1994), and a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Liverpool (1994-1998).
