Chris Olson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Chris is currently the Co-Founder and COO of the National Psychedelics Association since January 2020. In 2023, they will be joining Emerald and Momentum Events as the Lead Conference Content Producer. Prior to this, Chris worked as a Conference Manager at MJ Unpacked from May 2020 to June 2023. Chris has also served as a Staff Writer at NisonCo PR from February 2022 to January 2023. From 2018 to 2020, Chris worked at the National Cannabis Industry Association, first as an Education Manager from November 2018 to March 2020, and then as a Membership Coordinator from January 2018 to November 2018. Before entering the cannabis industry, Chris volunteered with the Peace Corps in Botswana as a Civil Society Capacity Building Volunteer from July 2015 to September 2017. Chris also has experience in the healthcare sector, having worked at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization as a Member Solutions Coordinator from June 2013 to July 2015, and as a Member Solutions Specialist from March 2010 to June 2013. Chris began their career as a Co-Founder of Grasshop.com from December 2007 to March 2012 and as an Assistant Project Manager at Direct Impact from December 2006 to March 2010.

Chris Olson attended Desert High School in Edwards, CA from 1996 to 2000. Following high school, from 2000 to 2004, they obtained a B.A. degree in Legal Studies from the University of West Florida.
