Martin Lopez Jr is a Laboratory Developer III at Emerald Cloud Lab and a Visiting Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to these roles, Martin has gained experience as a K-8 Instructor at MathSeed, a Tutor at AJ Tutoring, a Project Manager and Data Imagery Editor at Apple, and as an Astrophysics Researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Martin has also participated in various summer programs focused on astrophysics research and multi-messenger astronomy at institutions such as Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, The Kavli Foundation, and UCSC. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics (Astrophysics) from UCSC, Martin also has experience as an Academic Tutor and Peer Mentor, providing invaluable support to students in their academic journey.
