David Ascough

Scientific Instrumentation Engineer at Emerald Cloud Lab

David Ascough has a wealth of experience in scientific instrumentation, development, and research. David began their career in 2014 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Computational Organic Chemistry at the University of Oxford. During their time there, they also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher in Computational Organic Chemistry and an Undergraduate Student Researcher. In 2015, they took on a Lecturer in Chemistry role at Merton College, Oxford, as well as an Undergraduate Admissions Interviewer. In 2020, they joined Emerald Cloud Lab as a Scientific Instrumentation Engineer and Scientific Developer.

David Ascough attended the University of Oxford from 2011 to 2015, where they received a Master of Chemistry in Chemistry. David then attended the University of Oxford again from 2015 to 2019, where they received a DPhil (Ph.D.) in Computational Organic Chemistry.
