Sigal Cohen has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular biology and biotechnology. In 2008, they worked as a Tissue Culture Technician at Evogene, a plant genomics company focusing on crop productivity improvement through biotechnology. From 2013 to 2016, Sigal served as a Molecular Biologist in the R&D team at Morflora, a bio-tech company developing non-transgenic trait introduction solutions for plants and seeds. Sigal then joined FuturaGene Ltd. in 2016, where they held the position of Project Manager & Researcher, primarily focusing on renewable woody biomass, plantation forestry, and biofuels. Currently, they are working at Emendo Biotherapeutics since April 2019, initially as a Senior Research Assistant and currently as a Scientist and Team Leader. Overall, Sigal's work experience demonstrates a strong background in molecular biology and expertise in various biotechnological applications.

Sigal Cohen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Sigal then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Plant Sciences at the same institution, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.
