Sara Shehata serves as a Board Member for Be Inclusive, Inc., a nonprofit focused on amplifying the voices of underrepresented and marginalized communities, since December 2022. Currently, Sara holds the positions of Director, Global DE&I Business Partner, and Market HR Business Partner at EMD Serono, Inc., roles undertaken since June 2021. Previously, responsibilities included training and organizational development at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care from June 2013 to June 2021, a Human Resources Coordinator position at EMD Serono, Inc. in 2012-2013, sales support at CareerBuilder.com from February 2010 to March 2012, sales, marketing, and events at Explorica (2006-2009), and Food and Beverage Manager at Treasure Island (2004-2006). Educational qualifications include a BA in Spanish from the College of the Holy Cross and a MS in Human Capital Development from La Salle University.
