Rebecca Paterson has a diverse work experience in marketing and brand management roles. Rebecca is currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at EMCOR UK since January 2023. In their previous position at Ordnance Survey from April 2017 to December 2022, they held the role of Brand, Marketing & Customer Director. Prior to that, they worked as the Marketing Director at All Star Marketing Club from September 2015 to March 2017, where they successfully helped the business grow by designing and delivering brand and marketing programs for SME business owners. Rebecca also had a stint at Ordnance Survey as the Director of Brand, Marketing and Communications from February 2015 to September 2015, responsible for managing brand, marketing, and communications strategies. Before joining Ordnance Survey, they held various roles at Aviva from 2004 to 2014, including Global Head of Brand & Digital Marketing, Head of Marketing - Brand, Direct & Digital Marketing - UK Life & Health, and Head of Brand, Marketing & Propositions - UK Health. Rebecca also gained experience in marketing management roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd and Freelance Senior Account Manager at Ogilvy One, Joshua, The Pepper Corporation. Rebecca began their career as a Senior Account Manager at Havas Media Group in 1997.
Rebecca Paterson completed a Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson in 2020. Rebecca also pursued a Marketing Week Mini Brand MBA in the same year. At Lancaster University, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Marketing, specializing in Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, and Business Law.
