Andy Backman is a seasoned finance and investor relations professional, currently serving as Vice President of Investor Relations at EMCOR Group, Inc. since September 2023. Previously, Backman held the position of Global Head of Investor Relations at Kornit Digital and founded InVisionIR, a consulting firm focused on enhancing value for companies by fostering relationships with institutional and retail investors. Backman has a diverse background in investor and public relations, having served as Managing Director at HC2 Holdings Inc. and RCS Capital Corporation, and as Senior Vice President at iStar Financial Inc. Notable achievements include raising over $8 billion in capital during a financial crisis and guiding multiple companies through significant growth and restructuring initiatives. Backman began a career in investor relations at Lucent Technologies, following earlier roles in business and financial consulting. Backman holds a BA in Economics from Boston College.
