Brendan Kara has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Brendan began their career in 2005 as a Staff Assistant at Semester In Washington, GWU. In 2007, they worked as a Research Assistant at The Atlas Project before joining American Institute of Architects as a Consultant in 2009. From 2008 to 2015, Brendan worked as an Analyst at Hamilton Campaigns. In 2016, they joined EMC Research Inc. as a Senior Analyst and gradually progressed to the positions of Director, Senior Director, and currently serves as the Vice President.

Brendan Kara completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at The George Washington University from 2004 to 2005. Brendan later pursued a Masters Degree in Political Management from the same university, studying from 2005 to 2007.
