Marco Maio's work experience begins in 2005 as a Project Manager at Mec Baltic for a few months. Marco then worked as a Marketing and advertising consultant and contractor at Matrix Spa - Telecom Italia from 2006 to 2008. Maio then joined Il Sole 24 Ore as a Key Account Sales Manager for a media agency from 2008 to 2014, and later as a Key Account Sales Manager from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Oracle as an Account Executive - Tech, where they helped Italian financial companies simplify IT, reduce costs, and increase performance. Marco also worked as a Senior Account Executive - Java - EMEA at Oracle from 2017 to 2021, managing and developing relationships with large enterprises in the Iberian and Italian markets. Currently, Maio is working as a Strategic Alliance Manager at Emburse starting in 2021.
Marco Maio obtained a Master's degree in Economia aziendale/manageriale and Business Administration from Università Bocconi, where they attended from 2000 to 2005.
