Dustin Benson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dustin started their career as an Associate Director of University Affairs at Washington State University, where they worked closely with faculty and students to address issues and concerns within the university. Dustin then transitioned to Trident Seafoods as an Operations Manager, where they managed accounts, oversaw operations, and handled financial budgeting and forecasting. Later, they joined Highspot as an Account Development professional. At SAP Concur, Dustin held several roles, including Client Sales Specialist, Client Sales Executive for Select Accounts, and Client Sales Executive for Key Accounts. Dustin then joined CougsFirst! as a Board Member. Currently, Dustin is working as a Manager of Client Sales at Emburse, a global leader in spend optimization solutions trusted by millions of business professionals and organizations worldwide.

Dustin Benson attended Shorewood High School from 2008 to 2012, but did not receive a degree or specialize in any particular field during that time. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2016, they enrolled at the WSU Carson College of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Marketing.
