Andreas Kyrtatos is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the field of software development for autonomous systems, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at embotech since March 2018. In this role, Andreas leads a team of 75 software developers and domain experts. Additionally, Andreas is a Member of the Board of Advisors at Urban Connect AG and previously held the position of General Manager PMO & Digitalisation Programme at Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd., where oversight included a department of 25 staff and a company-wide digital transformation initiative. Prior experience at Wärtsilä spanned nearly a decade, including roles as General Manager of Project Management for 2-stroke marine diesel engines, where Andreas led multiple R&D projects and contributed to the development of significant marine technologies. Educational qualifications include advanced studies in digital business transformation, finance, and mechanical engineering from prestigious institutions such as IMD and Imperial College London.
