Caroline Payne is an experienced professional in operations and real estate investment management, currently serving as Vice President of Operations at Fundrise since March 2021, after previously holding the role of Senior Director of Operations in the same area. Prior to their tenure at Fundrise, Caroline was self-employed as a consultant from June 2018 to February 2021, focusing on market diligence for private equity clients involved in software acquisitions. Caroline's earlier career includes a role as Senior Consultant in Strategy and Operations at Deloitte from March 2017 to June 2018 and a decade of service as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy. Caroline holds an MBA in General Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
