Melanie Edwards is the current Principal Project Manager at EMB Statistical Solutions. Melanie has previous experience as the Director of IT Governance and Department Administration at The University of Kansas Health System from November 2016 to March 2020. Other companies Melanie has worked for include Quintiles, Durst and Associates, and Hoechst Marion Roussel. Melanie started their career working as a Data Coordination Analyst at Hoechst Marion Roussel from December 1996 to January 1999 before moving on to work as an Associate Director for Clinical Data Management at Quintiles from January 1999 to August 2003. From January 2005 to April 2008, Melanie worked as a Data Management Consultant before being promoted to Director of the Project Support Unit in the Therapeutic Delivery Unit at Quintiles, a position they held from April 2008 to November 2016.

Melanie Edwards has a Master of Management Information Systems from Friends University and a BS Health Information Management from The University of Kansas. Melanie also has a certification from Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
