Benjamin Joffe is a Partner at SOSV, a global deep tech fund with a focus on planetary and human health, and has held this position since October 2013. In addition, Benjamin is an active Keynote Speaker and Moderator, having participated in over 300 events across 35 countries, and an Angel Investor, investing in 20 startups primarily in their initial funding rounds. With extensive academic involvement, Benjamin has served as a Guest Lecturer at institutions such as the University of California at Berkeley and designed a course on Deeptech Ventures at Zhejiang University. Further contributions to the tech ecosystem include being a Guest Writer for TechCrunch, a Producer and Host of the "Deep Tech: From Lab To Market" podcast, and a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First. Additionally, Benjamin served as a French Foreign Trade Advisor from 2017 to 2019. Educationally, Benjamin Joffe holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Centrale Lyon and has pursued various studies in languages and sciences.
