William Marklund began their work experience in 2016 as an Asbestos sanitizer at Removit Skadeservice i Sverige AB, where they worked until 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Carpenter at MB SKELLEFTEBYGG AB for a short period. In 2019, they worked as an Assembler at NORDIC LIGHTS® for a few months. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Process operator at Boliden. Currently, they are working at Elypta as a Research Engineer, starting in 2022. William also completed a Master Thesis at Elypta from January 2022 to June 2022.

William Marklund attended Umeå University from 2017 to 2022, where they pursued a Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Biotechnology.
