Niamh McCooey

Niamh McCooey has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Editor at the Royal College of Art. In 2015, they also served as a Content Developer at Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers. Niamh then transitioned to Selvedge Magazine, where they held the position of Features Editor from 2017 to 2018. During their time at Selvedge Magazine, they successfully edited and published 10 issues, increasing print subscriptions to over 11,000 global subscribers. In 2018, they joined Impact Hub Network as the Chief Storyteller & Content Producer, implementing a content strategy that drove a significant increase in website traffic and social media engagement. In 2019, Niamh worked as a Frontend Web Developer on a contract basis at Octophin Digital, where they were involved in various client projects. Niamh then joined Elsewhen in 2019 as a Frontend Web Developer. In 2021, Niamh briefly worked as a Course Instructor - Intro to Web Development at Code First Girls. Throughout their career, Niamh has demonstrated expertise in content creation, web development, and storytelling.

Niamh McCooey holds a Master's degree in Critical Writing in Art & Design, which they obtained from the Royal College of Art between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts Practice from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, which they completed from 2007 to 2011.
