Kerem Morgul currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Elon University since July 2023, following a role as Visiting Assistant Professor at Hamilton College from August 2022 to July 2023. Prior to this, Kerem Morgul was involved in research and lecturing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2013 to August 2022. Earlier academic experience includes a lecturer position at Boğaziçi University from September 2008 to May 2010. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Fox International Fellowship in International and Area Studies from Yale University, a Master's degree in Modern Turkish History from Boğaziçi University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Marmara University.
