Charlie Kothe has been working in the field of animation and motion graphics since 1996. Charlie began their career as an Animator/Artist at Edmark Corp. In 1996, they moved to Riverdeep Interactive Learning, Inc. (formerly Edmark Inc.), where they held the role of Animator/Illustrator. During this time, they were responsible for leading the design and animation of characters for major interactive learning products. Charlie also contributed to animation of Edmark characters and designed product splash screen designs for various CD-ROM based educational products. In 2003, they began working as a Freelance Designer/Animator for IMDb.com. In 2005, they took on a role as Freelance Animator/Illustrator for Expedia, Inc. and Kayo Media. In 2011, they began working as a Freelance Illustrator for McGraw-Hill Education. Two years later, in 2013, they became a Freelance Flash Animator for Williams Helde Marketing Communications. Charlie currently holds the role of Animator/Motion Graphic Artist at ELM Learning, which they have held since 2018.
Charlie Kothe's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema, Animation Emphasis from San Francisco State University (1991-1995), an Intermedia/Multimedia course from UCLA Extension (1995), and a Radio, Television & Film course from California State University, Long Beach (1990-1991).
