Alan Malamud is an experienced educator currently serving as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Elm Community Charter School since October 2023. Prior to this role, Alan taught fourth grade at Maury Elementary from September 2019 to June 2022 and worked as a Literacy B Teacher at Ingenuity Prep from August 2017 to May 2019. Alan's early professional experiences include internships at several organizations, including Novus Group, Beacon Strategies Group, Prudential Financial, and Morrison & Foerster LLP, where Alan gained valuable insights into grassroots organizing, financial audits, and legal research. Alan holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University School of Education, Boston University, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
