Robert Schmitz is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience spanning from 1977 to the present. Currently at Ellis Corporation USA since 2011, Robert is responsible for complete project management for new product designs and retrofitting laundry systems, utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Previously, Robert held roles at Trace Laboratories, where responsibilities included engineering advice and mechanical solid modeling, and at Methode Electronics, managing prototyping projects and developing fiber optic connector lines. Robert's earlier career included positions at Northrop Defense Systems, aiding in radar equipment design, and various design roles in companies focused on electronic and mechanical engineering. Robert's educational background includes studies at Triton College from 1973 to 1975.
