Kara Moss, CPRP, possesses extensive experience in risk management and aquatic facility operations. Currently serving as Director of Risk & Special Projects at Glenview Park District since June 2019, previous roles include Assistant Director of Risk Management & Special Projects and Risk Manager. Additionally, Kara has been an Instructor Trainer at Ellis and Associates, Inc. since March 2017. Earlier positions include Aquatic Facility Manager at Gurnee Park District, Safety Coordinator and Program Manager at Kankakee Valley Park District, and Swim Lesson Coordinator at the University of Iowa. Kara began their career at Gurnee Park District as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor and also completed an internship with the City of Iowa City. Educationally, Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Management, Entrepreneurship Management, and Human Relations from the University of Iowa.
