Jordan Lake began working as a Tiltrotor Mechanic for the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey in the United States Marine Corps in August 2011. In this role, they inspected and maintained airframes, power plants, and aircraft components. Jordan also operated and maintained special shop and ground support equipment, assisted in preflight and post-flight inspections, and practiced ground safety procedures on the flight line and in the hangar. Jordan held this position until August 2016. In May 2019, Jordan joined Elliott Aviation as a Lead Service Technician. No end date for this role is provided.
Jordan Lake attended the Aviation Institute of Maintenance from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General. They also attended MiraCosta College from 2016 to 2018 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications. In 2011 to 2012, Jordan attended the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training, focusing on MV-22 Osprey Power Plants and Related Systems in Organizational Maintenance. Additionally, Jordan obtained an Airframe, Power Plant, or Repairer License from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2019.
