Jordan Burns is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School Science Teacher at Elkhorn Public Schools since August 2022. Previous experience includes being a 6th Grade Teacher at Papillion-La Vista School District from July 2016 to November 2022, where engaging lessons and differentiated instruction were key responsibilities. Jordan also held internships at the Nebraska Department of Education and the National Association of State Boards of Education, contributing to educational research and policy development. Leadership skills were demonstrated as Student Body President and Student Regent at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where initiatives for student advocacy and collaboration were implemented. Jordan holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
