Minky Antrobus has extensive work experience in the education sector. Minky started their career in 1991 as an English teacher at George Campbell Technical High. Minky then served as an English HOD at Ladysmith High School from 1993 to 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as an English teacher at Epworth High School. In 2001, they joined Parklands College & Christopher Robin Pre-Primary as an English HOD. In 2003, they joined Elkanah House as an HOD, where they managed resources, staff development and training, and department and grade moderation. Minky later took on roles as Deputy: Student Affairs and Deputy Head: Academics at Elkanah House.
Minky Antrobus attended the University of Natal, Durban from 1987 to 1990. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on English Language and Literature/Letters. Additionally, they achieved an HDE qualification.
