Faith E Shiffer

Adjunct Faculty at Elizabethtown College

Faith Shiffer is an experienced musician and educator with a significant background in woodwind performance and instruction. Since August 2003, Faith has served as an Adjunct Instructor for Clarinet and Saxophone at Elizabethtown College, offering private lessons and coaching chamber ensembles. In addition to teaching, Faith is an active performer, playing clarinet in the Tom Pontz Project, which specializes in early 20th-century jazz standards, and as a musician in Cat's Pajamas, known for Dixieland classics and modern hits. As a flutist in Ossia Duo, Faith showcases a diverse repertoire alongside guitar. Faith's extensive performance experience includes roles as a woodwinds musician with Gretna Theatre, contributing to numerous productions, and past engagements with various theaters, including a national tour of "South Pacific" and performances spanning from "Sunday in the Park with George" to "Phantom."
