Fredrick Haraka MD, MScApEpi, PhD is an accomplished professional in the field of epidemiology and research, currently serving as the Director of Research and Evaluation at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation since October 2020. Previously, Fredrick held significant roles at the Ifakara Health Institute from December 2010 to June 2022, including Site Principal Investigator for the Simplic TB Multi Centre Trial and NC005 Multicentre TB Clinical Trial, as well as Research Scientist, where responsibilities included developing research ideas, applying for grants, and supervising research officers. Fredrick's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Muhimbili University, a Master's in Applied Epidemiology from the University of Nottingham, and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Basel. Additionally, Fredrick is pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Leadership at Uongozi Institute.
