Michael Xia has seven years of professional experience, beginning in 2013. Michael started their career as an Assistant Teacher at Spirit of Math Schools Inc. In 2016, they worked as a Carrier Cost Analyst at Rogers Communications and a Research Assistant at Western University. In 2018, they became a Business Intelligence Consultant at Bell. In 2019, they worked as an Operations Analyst at RBC. In 2020, they moved to EY as a Technology Consultant. Currently, they are employed as a Data Analyst at EliseAI (formerly MeetElise).

Michael Xia attended Bayview Secondary School from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their International Baccalaurate (IB) Diploma. From 2015 to 2020, they attended Western University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences. From 2017 to 2019, they attended Ivey Business School at Western University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Honors Business Administration (HBA).
