Markus Höijer is a seasoned project and program manager with extensive experience in strategic development and IT project management across various industries. Currently serving as Manager of Strategic Projects and Development Director of Corporate IT at Elisa since March 2021, Markus leads the organizational, financial, and strategic development of the Corporate IT unit while being a key member of the management team. Prior to Elisa, Markus held multiple roles at Fortum for over a decade, including Senior Project Manager and Program Manager for significant technology transformation programs. Markus's career also includes project management positions at Finnet Association, Ericsson, and Siemens. Markus holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications and Project Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and has ongoing education at Aalto University.
