Rainer Aus has a strong background in network engineering and architecture. Rainer started their career as a Network Engineer at Data Telecom OÜ in 2003. Rainer then worked as an SDH/DWDM/IP Engineer at Linx Telecommunications Eesti OÜ from 2004 to 2005. Rainer continued their career at Linxtelecom Estonia OÜ as a NOC Supervisor from 2006 to 2007, and later as a Network Architect and Network Operations Manager from 2008 to 2011. Rainer then joined Elion Enterprises Ltd as a Network Development Expert from 2011 to 2014. Rainer then worked as an Architect at AS Eesti Telekom from 2014 to 2015. Rainer'smost recent roles include being a Network Engineer at Starman AS from 2015 to 2017, and currently at Elisa Eesti AS since 2018.

Rainer Aus obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Tallinn University Haapsalu College, spanning from the year 2000 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, completing their studies from 2005 to 2010.
