Lucas Tortarolo is a geoscientist currently employed at Eliis since May 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a PhD student in Marine Geosciences at Laboratoire Géosciences Océan (LGO UBS) from October 2020 to December 2023, focusing on the evolution of the Brazilian Equatorial Margin and the impact of Amazonian siliciclastic sediments. Notable projects include participation in a one-month oceanographic mission aboard the Marion Dufresne in May 2023, aimed at studying climate change effects in the Amazon region. Additional experience encompasses roles as a mud logger for geothermal drilling projects at Excellence Logging and various internships in sedimentology and tectonics with Total and Université de Montpellier. Lucas Tortarolo holds a Master's degree in Géologie de l'Exploration et des Réservoirs from the University of Montpellier and a Licence in Sciences de la Terre et de l'Eau from the same institution.
