Gordon Wrigley has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current position as the Chief Technology Officer at Eligible.ai since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Python Specialist at QuantumBlack from November 2018 to November 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Lead Python Developer on a contract basis at +rehabstudio from February 2017 to June 2017. Their role involved managing stakeholders, providing technical support, and ensuring a smooth handover for the permanent Python Lead position on Google's Digital Garage learning platform.

Furthermore, Gordon has experience as an Engineering Director at YPlan, a popular app for finding local events, from July 2012 to November 2016. Gordon oversaw engineering operations and contributed to the development of the app.

Before joining YPlan, Gordon worked at Broadcom as an Engineer, Sr. Staff - Software Development from February 2010 to May 2012. In this role, they focused on software tools administration and development in Python, utilizing their knowledge of embedded development to optimize Python programs.

Prior to Broadcom, Gordon was a Senior Software Engineer at G2 Microsystems from June 2007 to January 2010. During this time, they specialized in wifi driver development in embedded C and led a project to test embedded C code from Python using a CTypes bridge.

Gordon's career started as a Software Engineer at Aristocrat from March 2006 to May 2007, where they worked on regionalization of slot machine software. Gordon then transitioned to Allied Telesyn as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2003 to December 2005, focusing on network switch driver development in embedded C.

Overall, Gordon Wrigley has a strong technical background and extensive experience in various roles, particularly in Python engineering, software development, and technical leadership.

Gordon Wrigley completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Canterbury from 1999 to 2001. Later, in 2002, they pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Science with a specialization in Computer Science.
