James Townsend has a strong background in the energy industry, with over 16 years of work experience. James started their career at British Gas Business in 2005, where they worked as an Energy Analyst until 2008. Following that, they joined Utility Warehouse as an Energy Analyst and continued in this role until 2012. In 2012, James joined Elexon, where they held various roles throughout the years, including Settlement Analyst, Settlement Operations Analyst Team Leader, EMR Change & Delivery Manager, BSC Business Change Manager, Service Management Lead, and currently as a PMP Delivery Lead. James'sexpertise lies in energy analysis, business change management, service management, and project delivery.

James Townsend attended the University of Lincoln from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a BA Honours degree in Criminology.
