John Roberts has a diverse work experience from various notable corporations. John began their career with SRA International as an Analyst in 2004 and later moved to Stone Tower Capital as an Analyst and then as an Associate until 2009. John briefly worked as a Global Natural Resources Group Associate at Goldman Sachs in 2010. From 2011 to 2014, they were with GE Energy Financial Services and worked first as an Associate and later as Assistant Vice President in the Principal Energy Investment Fund. In 2014, they were a Board Member at Inflection Energy LLC. The same year, they joined Noble Group, where they held the roles of Vice President and Senior Vice President - Principal Energy Investments, Structuring & Origination. John'sresponsibilities involved leading autonomous investing teams and restructuring work streams to deploy investments and manage portfolio companies. In 2018, they moved to Sundance Energy, Inc., where they held various executive positions, including Vice President - Finance and Investor Relations, Executive Vice President - Corporate Development & Finance, and most recently as Chief Operating Officer. While their time at Sundance, they successfully led the sale process, resulting in the exit to a strategic acquirer. John is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Elevation Midstream.
John Roberts has a BA in English and Spanish from The George Washington University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, which they completed between 2009 and 2011. John also holds an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University, but the start and end dates are unknown. John attended St. Mark's School of Texas, but the level of degree earned is unknown. In addition, Roberts obtained an Energy Risk Professional certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals in January 2014.
