Vipe Desai is an established leader in the surf and ocean conservation industries, currently serving as a Board Member for Visit Huntington Beach and Chill Foundation, as well as holding the position of Executive Director at the Surf Industry Members Association (SIMA). With a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation, Vipe is the Founder of VoteTheOcean and a Founding Member of the Business Alliance for Protecting the Pacific Coast, advocating against oil and gas development. Vipe's extensive experience includes roles as a U.S. Board Member for Skateistan and an Emeritus Board Member for Ocean Institute, along with previous advisory duties for NOAA's National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. Vipe Desai is a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University, holding a BA in Business Writing.
