Michael Hofer serves as the VP & Medicaid Chief Growth Officer at Elevance Health since December 2016, with additional roles including President of Wellpoint New York and Interim President & CEO of Empire BlueCross BlueShield Healthplus. Prior to joining Elevance Health, Michael held the position of Vice President of Strategy at KeyBank and served as Vice President of Finance at First Niagara Bank. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Financial Analyst at M&T Bank and Chief of Staff & Product Lead at HealthWon, Inc. Michael Hofer holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Canisius University, as well as a high school diploma from Canisius High School.
